PORTRAITS

I produce portraits from your photographs – ordinary family ‘snaps’ are 

sufficient as long as they are clear and not too small. 

A cameo effect with no background is very popular, but if you wish, I can put in a 

fictional landscape, room setting, texture etc. 

It may be that your subject is dressed too casually – no problem, I can substitute 

entirely different clothes!

If you would like a group portrait, simply supply me with a photo of each person 

and I will place them together in a lifelike composition.

The same requirements apply to animal portraits.  Very often it is more helpful to 

me if you can provide two or three photos of your pet, so that I can glean a 

better idea of its appearance and character.

Homes

For the person who really DOES have everything, a painting of their home, 

whether a permanent residence or a holiday stay, can be the perfect present for 

many occasions!  Childhood homes, filled with special memories, make wonderful 

subjects for a gift.

If you have a specific idea in mind, something totally original and suited to the 

recipient, please do not hesitate to discuss it with me - with a background in 

illustration, I have tackled a very wide variety of subjects . For example, a 

racehorse; a mermaid and even a petrol station!

Product

You can choose whether your picture is produced in colour pencils on pastel 

paper, or watercolour.  A subject will sometimes lend itself to one medium in 

preference to another,  and I will tell you if I feel this is the case.

I usually supply pictures unframed, but in a protective folder. If you would like 

your portrait framed, I would simply add the cost price to your portrait fee.
